THE COTTAGE
Albert and Kathy acquired the property in the fall of 2008 and worked throughout the winter and spring of 2009 to make it into a relaxing get-a-way place for you to stay. Take time to enjoy discovering the island of Grand Manan and know you have a cozy place to come back to.
Let's take a Tour of Kick-it-Back Cottage
Enter the front foyer of the cottage into the Living Room and you will find a relaxing area to enjoy watching TV/DVD, for playing games or curling up on the couch to read a long awaited novel. The couch also makes into a comfortable pull-out bed. We have privacy screens so guests will have a place of their own at night.
The kitchen is very large with fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and tea kettle. You will also find dish clothes, tea towels, plus other basics such as salt & pepper, tea bags, coffee filters and sugar. The table will seat 6 and is a great spot to gather for meals and plan your day excursions. All dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans are provided for your cooking convenience during your island visit.
Laundry facilities onsite for your convenience.
Once you leave the laundry room, you will find a large deck with chairs, propane BBQ and a view of Wood Island. A great spot to enjoy an ocean breeze and a cool beverage.
From the living room and up the beautiful wooden staircase are the 2 bedrooms and bathroom which contains a tub and shower, vanity and hair dryer. We supply all towels and facecloths, soap and paper products.
One bedroom is great for the children as it features two single beds and a dresser.
The other room features a very comfy Queen Size sleigh bed, dresser and night tables.
